ABOUT ME

Emily K. Reuter is a freelance writer, author and editor-in-chief of Reborn World Magazine – America’s first printed fine art-doll collectors’ magazine. Emily holds an undergraduate degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Portland State University. She later obtained a graduate degree in adult education with a specialty in adult professional studies. With the completion of a second graduate degree in English, she has applied this expertise to the teaching of adult students enrolled in online degree programs in the fields of English, literature and writing. Emily is the author of the epic crime-drama Fortune’s Series – Fortune’s Secrets, Fortune’s Hours and Fortune’s Revenge.  With a love of adult education and e-learning, Emily has developed a complete 10-week online children’s literature class for undergraduate English majors and incorporated it into a 127 page course proposal for colleges and universities. As a resourceful and dedicated professional expertly trained in adult-education methodology, she enjoys designing insightful curriculum through a blending of modern education theory, creativity and technical literacy. Emily’s background consists of seven years of homeschooling her own children, and later working as a manuscript editor with a critique service for first-time authors desiring publication. When not teaching or writing, she spends her weeks reading, studying and analyzing antiquarian English, American and children’s literature texts for both enjoyment and curriculum design.
